With this in mind, unless specified otherwise in the product title or description, items will be in a used state. Item photos and descriptions will show any defects, and any further clarity on condition should be requested prior to purchase.

Welcome to JapPortal ("we," "us," "our").

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website www.japportal.co.uk (the "Site") and the purchase of any products ("Products") from us.

By accessing our Site and/or purchasing Products, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Condition of Products

  • 1.1. Products are Used: You acknowledge and agree that all items sold on this Site are used or pre-owned from vehicles unless explicitly and clearly stated otherwise in the product title or description (e.g., "New," "New Old Stock").

  • 1.2. Inherent Wear and Tear: As used items, products will inherently show signs of use, age, and wear. This may include, but is not limited to, scratches, scuffs, other cosmetic imperfections.

  • 1.3. Photographic Representation: We make every reasonable effort to provide high-quality photographs that accurately represent the condition of the Product. All visible defects, damage, and blemishes are considered part of the product description via these photographs.

2. Buyer's Responsibility & Due Diligence

  • 2.1. Review All Information: It is the Buyer's sole responsibility to carefully review all provided photographs and read the entire product description before making a purchase.

  • 2.2. Seek Clarification: If you have any uncertainty or questions regarding a Product's condition, compatibility, fitment, or any other detail, you MUST contact us for clarification at info@japportal.co.uk prior to completing your purchase.

  • 2.3. Fitment and Compatibility: We may provide part numbers or vehicle compatibility information as a reference guide. However, vehicle manufacturers often use different parts for the same model year. The Buyer is ultimately responsible for verifying that the part is correct for their specific vehicle, model, and trim level before purchase. We are not responsible for parts that are ordered incorrectly.

3. Sales, Payment, and Pricing

  • 3.1. All Sales Final: Due to the nature of used parts, all sales are considered final. Please see our Return Policy (Section 5) for exceptions.

  • 3.2. Payment: Full payment must be received and cleared before any Product is shipped.

  • 3.3. Pricing: All prices are subject to change without notice. Prices listed currently include shipping and taxes.

4. Shipping and Handling

  • 4.1. Processing Time: We will process and ship orders within 3 business days of cleared payment.

  • 4.2. Risk of Loss: Risk of loss or damage to Products passes to the Buyer once the item is delivered to the Buyer.

  • 4.3. Shipping Damage: If a Product arrives damaged in transit, the Buyer must immediately document the damage (including photos of the packaging) and contact us at info@japportal.co.uk

5. Warranty and Return Policy

  • 5.1. "AS IS" Sale: All Products are sold in "Sold as seen" condition. We make no warranty, express or implied, regarding the condition, longevity, or performance of any used Product. Any features that can be tested prior to shipping will be (For example, LED lights, bulbs or other small electronic features).

  • 5.2. No Returns on Condition: Returns will not be accepted for any cosmetic issue, defect, or sign of wear that was visible in the product photographs or disclosed in the description.

  • 5.3. Ineligible Returns: Returns will not be accepted for:

    • Incorrect part ordered by the Buyer.

    • Failure to verify fitment (see Section 2.3).

    • "Buyer's remorse" or changing your mind.

    • Issues disclosed in the photos or description.

  • 5.4. Incorrect Item Received: If you receive a Product that is verifiably different from the item you ordered (i.e., a shipping error on our part), you must contact us within 3 working days of delivery to arrange for a return and correction.

6. Limitation of Liability

JapPortal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or installation of our Products. This includes, but is not limited to, labour costs, vehicle downtime, or damage to other parts of your vehicle. Once the Product arrives with the Buyer the transaction is complete.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
